Our Ingredients

In any bakery, flour is one of the most critical ingredients, contributing to the nutritional value and flavour of breads and pastries. 


For all of our products at zimt, we are proud to be using the best quality flour, supplied by Aichermühle (, our partner mill in Germany.

Nestled amidst beautiful Alpine lakes in the region of Bavaria, Aichermühle is one of Europe’s oldest family mills, with a history of over 435 years.


Established in 1589 by their forefather Rupert Aicher, the Aicher family today preserve their artisanal heritage of milling wheat, rye and other grains, all sourced locally from neighbouring farms.
